Enhancing the lives of those we touch.
Suz Anne Kurten grew up in the Texas Panhandle on a 15 section ranch where she learned to ride and love horses. In 1989 she relocated to the Austin, Texas area where she and her husband, Johnny raise American Quarter Horses and Brangus cattle. In 1997, she badly injured her neck, the only relief from the pain was from massage therapy. As a result, Suz Anne decided she wanted to be a massage therapist and duly attended The Lauterstein Conway School of Massage Therapy, which she graduated from and became a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) in 1999. In 2003 Suz Anne was introduced to Equine Touch (ET) and Vibromuscular Harmonization Technique (VHT). Impressed by the non-invasiveness of this work and its remarkable results, she began to study both the human and the horse techniques under the founders, Jock and Dr Ivana Ruddock, taking every opportunity she could to assist them in their classes to learn as much as possible from the source itself. After qualifying, she became a Practitioner of both disciplines and in 2007 was appointed the first United States VHT Instructor, subsequently attaining the position of an Equine Touch Instructor in 2009. As an approved Massage Therapy Instructor and Continuing Education Provider for the State of Texas, she teaches VHT to Massage Therapists for Continuing Education hours and to anyone else who wants to learn this amazing technique in their quest to help others..
